The association is a non-for profit organization that is dedicated to advancing and improving the products and employees involved in the air cleaning industry and air cleaners. The IAQA has many specific goals they are striving to accomplish on a daily basis. The association works hard to offer training and education on air cleaning and other factors of the industry. They use learning tools such as testing devices, diagnostic tools, and proper identification techniques for residential and commercial customers in order to educate practitioners. The association also promotes and encourages companies to grow and expand on existing air cleaning technology and products. IAQA is able to recommend and consider building techniques, equipment and designs when building or remodeling a home or business building that may need to survive a hot or humid climate. The association is able to answer any questions or concerns the public may have in regards to clean air or air cleaning products. IAQA also educates and certifies professionals in the industry such as Indoor Air Quality practitioners and mold remediators. The association also serves the government as a witness when new legislation is proposed.
