With a regular ionizing filter, there is a filtering stage in which the air goes through a collection strip. This strip is easily clogged with dust or particles and must be cleaned frequently. The C90A is designed with three different types of filters. With all three filters cleaning the particles in the air, they do not need to be changed as frequently since they do not clog periodically. The ionizing filter becomes inactive and less efficient easily when the filter clogs.
