Headquartered today is in two places: Stockholm,
Sweden and Chicago, Illinois. Both of these cities are well known for
their commitments to a healthy environment. Our research and development
staff are constantly researching new solutions that will make the air in
your home cleaner, and make your environment more friendly to you.
You’ve heard the old saying “the breath of life.” At Blueair Air
Cleaners we take that phrase seriously. Our air cleaning systems provide
the breath of life, a clean breath of life for our customers.
Another area where Blueair products and the company are leading the
pack in Energy Star efficiency and the accompanying rating. Our products
have earned the coveted Energy Star rating, making us one of only six
manufacturers to qualify for this designation. Meeting the guidelines
for Energy Star is a benefit for our customers in lower utility bills
and it is appropriate for a company that works with air pollution to
also contribute to energy savings, resulting in less pollution in other
areas. Blueair prides itself on being an environmentally friendly
company.
As a company Blueair Air Cleaners takes its civic responsibility
seriously. After the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack that toppled
the twin towers of the World Trade Center, many New York City public
schools were unsafe due to poor air quality. A tremendous amount of
pollutants and particulate had been released. Blueair donated 25 top of
the line air cleaners to the New York City public schools to help
students return to school in safety. Blueair also allowed New York
Public Schools to buy additional 75 units at manufacturer’s cost.
Blueair believes that good citizenship demands assisting when you can
during such a national crisis. Cleaning up the air for children in New
York was one way that we could help.
Blueair Air Cleaners are listed as medical devices by the U.S. Food and
Drug Administration. As such they are held to high standards by the FDA.
This designation sets Blueair apart from other air cleaner manufacturers
and assures consumers of the highest possible quality of air.
