HealthMate and the HealthMate Plus
HealthMate Air Cleaners are one of the first units that was developed.
This unit helps in removing a large variety of dust, pet dander,
chemical gases and pollen that cause many of the allergies for a lot of
people. The specifications for this unit are as follows. It is 23 inches
in height, 14.5 inches by 14.5 inches in width, and it weighs 45 pounds.
The air flow is put out from the upper deck and is directed from one
side of the unit.
The HealthMate Plus is specifically designed for those who have
sensitivities to chemical air pollutants. These air cleaners remove all the
harmful toxins from the air, improving the environment for those who
have allergic reactions to chemical fumes, odors, or vapors.
The specifications of the HealthMate Plus are as follows. It is 23
inches in height, 14.5 x 14.5 inches in width, and weighs 45 pounds. It
contains a perforated filter deck made of steel that has a 360-degree
intake. The air flow comes from the upper deck on one direct side. The
bottom plate can be removed very easily to get access to the filter. You
can get one of these units in a baked on power coat finish in our choice
of sandstone, white, or black.
HealthMate Jr and the HealthMate Jr Plus
The HealthMate Jr and the HealthMate Jr Plus are both considered to be
the babies of the HealthMate units by Austin Air Cleaners. This unit is designed
perfectly for one or two rooms. It tends to fit great in a bedroom or
area that is up to 700 square feet. The specifications of this unit are
as follows. The height is 16.5 inches, the width is 11 inches by 11
inches, and it weighs 18 pounds. It contains a perforated intake filter
deck that is made of steel that has a 360-degree intake. The output of
the air flow is from the upper deck and is directed from only one side.
It has an easily removable bottom plate so that you can easily access
the filter.
The fan and motor assembly specifications are as follows. HealthMate Jr
air cleaners
have a centrifugal fan which has a control switch of three speeds. The
power rating of this unit is one amp or 120 volts. It consumes about 80
watts of power when set at its highest speed setting. The HealthMate Jr has a high efficiency shaded pole motor that is rated
when it is running on a continuously high RPM. The motor is mounted on
shock absorbers and it is CSA, CE, and UL approved.
The filter of the HealthMate Jr is an HEPA and carbon zeolite unit. It
is 9.5 inches in diameter and 11.25 inches in height. It has a 30 square
foot true HEPA filter. It has 6.5 pounds of activated carbon and zeolite
mixture. This particular HEPA filter meets all of the standards of
trapping 99.97 percent of all particles that are larger than 0.3
microns. There are gaskets that are foam sealed on the bottom as well as
the top. This filter weighs a total of eight pounds. It is designed so
that it can be cleaned by simply vacuuming it from the outside of the
unit. By doing this it helps to eliminate those costly filter changes
every three months or so.
HealthMate Jr air cleaners
have a fan rating of 200 cfm on its highest setting
and can clean up to 700 square feet. This unit also comes with a five
year pro rated guarantee of its parts and labor, but only under normal
use of the unit. These air cleaners are available in a choice of black,
sandstone, or white.
Allergy Machine, HealthMate Jr HEGA, and Baby’s Breath Air Purifying Air
Cleaners
Allergy Machine air cleaners are designed for trapping and adsorbing gases odors
and chemicals using the carbon cloth and HEPA filter technology that the
military uses. The HealthMate Jr HEGA is designed for those who are
suffering from allergies and asthma. The Baby’s Breath unit is designed
for those who suffer from allergies and asthma. This special unit uses
the same type of carbon cloth that the military uses. These air cleaners can clean about
700 square feet providing very effective air purification.
