Air-O-Swiss air cleaners offer basic performance for a basic price and are therefore probably the most cost effective air purifiers available on the market today. Designed in Switzerland and made in the Czech Republic they offer both HEPA and HEPA with a humidifier.

We review these air cleaners as good for addressing mid-level asthma and allergy symptoms and where added humidity is required. While they are of a good design we find that they are a bit on the light side compared to the metal based air cleaners such as the Blueair and HealthMate as well as the Swiss made IQAir. On the other hand, these air purifiers sell for less. If you have sever allergy or asthma issues or MSC we would recommend that you consider another brand.

AOS 2061

The AOS 2061 is a good basic HEPA air cleaner. The air is drawn into the large front grill, through an activated carbon pre filter that removes large particulates and then through a HEPA filter.

The noise levels produced by the 2061 are acceptable with some vibration occurring at high speeds.

The AOS 2061 brings air in through the front grill, cleans it, and sends it out through the top.

AOS 2071

AOS 2071s are is a good basic HEPA air cleaners. The air is drawn into the large front grill through an activated carbon pre filter that removes large particulates past an evaporative cartridge and then through a HEPA filter.

The water tanks of the 2071 are designed to slide under the faucet of most bathrooms sinks for easy filling.

The noise level produced by these air cleaners is acceptable with some vibration occurring at high speeds.

The AOS 2071 humidifies the air as well as cleaning it with HEPA and Activated carbon.
