IQAir produces many different types of air cleaners for
homes and businesses. They design air cleaners for all sorts of
conditions from allergies to those who are suffering from Multiple
Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). All of the products from IQAir are
guaranteed 100 percent ozone free. Every HealthPro air cleaner comes
complete with instructions, filters, a hand signed certificate of
performance, a user guide, a remote control, and a VHS or DVD along with
a five year warranty on parts and service. This warranty does not
include the filters. Below are the three HealthPro series air purifying
units.
HealthPro Compact
The HealthPro Compact is one of best air cleaners for any one who is
suffering from allergies such as dust, pollen, and pet dander. This unit
contains HEPA filters which has an efficiency for trapping small
particles that are in the air at 0.3 microns at 99.97 percent.
One of the smallest and easiest to fit into cramped quarters is the
IQAir HealthPro Compact. It is 24 inches in height, 15 inches in width,
and 15 inches in depth. The maximum room coverage is about 900 square
feet at its highest fan setting. The HealthPro Compact unit has six
different fan settings. When the unit has new filters installed, the
capacity is 700 cfm.
All of its components are UL certified. The power consumption for the
HealthPro Compact is 115 volts, 60 Hz. The fan speeds have various power
consumption. On speed one it consumes 85 watts, on speed two it consumes
120 watts, speed three consumes 150 watts, speed four consumes 170
watts, speed five consumes 205 watts, and one speed six it consumes 215
watts of power. This unit also includes a five year warranty that covers
the fans, but does not cover the filters if something should go wrong
with them.
HealthPro
IQAir HealthPro air cleaners are very much like the HealthPro Compact.
They are a little bigger in size at 28 inches in height, 15 inches in
width, and 16 inches in depth, and weigh only 29 pounds. This unit is
also upgradable to a HealthPro Plus at any given time so that it will
also be able to remove harmful chemical odors and gases from the air as
well as the allergens.
The specifications for the HealthPro are as follows. It has six
different fan speeds, and the air delivery into the room with brand new
filters is based per speed. The first speed is 45 cfm, the second speed
is 75 cfm, the third speed its 115 cfm, the fourth speed is 145 cfm, the
fifth speed is 180 cfm, and the sixth speed is 260 cfm. This unit’s
maximum coverage on the fastest speed setting is about 1100 square feet
of space.
The HEPA filters for the HealthPro air cleaners should be replaced every
two years unlike many other air cleaners where their filters must be
changed every three months in order for it to continue to work
efficiently.
The power requirements for the HealthPro are as follows. This unit is UL
certified and uses 115 VAC 50 - 60 Hz. The consumption of power solely
depends on what speed the unit is set at. For example if the unit is set
on speed one, the consumption of power si 85 watts, speed 2 at 120
watts, speed three at 150 watts, speed four at 170 watts, speed five at
205 watts, and speed six at 215 watts.
HealthPro Plus
IQAir HealthPro Plus air cleaners have been voted as being number one
and the most trusted air cleaner for hospitals around the world than any
other air purifier on the market. This unit traps 90 percent of all
particles that are 0.3 microns in size. That’s about the average size of
most airborne particles and many other units don’t come close to
trapping them.
The HealthPro Plus has a Hyper HEPA filter. This filter that is
installed in the unit plays a big part in breaking down the particles
that are larger to the size of 0.3 microns. By using a Hyper HEPA filter
this gives the HealthPro Plus a huge advantage over other air cleaners.
It allows it to remove 100 times more of the harmful allergens from the
air, returning fresh breathable air to the room.
Unlike the Compact air cleaners and the HealthPro units, the HealthPro Plus
removes harmful chemical gases and odors from the air along with
particles like dust, pollen, and pet dander.
